Admission Arrangements

Thank you for considering Old Hill Primary as your preferred choice for your child's education. As a member of the Rowley Learning Trust, Old Hill Primary follows the Sandwell MBC admissions process. For more details, please refer to the *School Admissions* page on the Sandwell Council website.

School and Nursery Information

We are a one-form entry school, providing both full-time and part-time nursery places. We offer free 15-hour places for children aged 3 and over. Our nursery sessions are as follows:

Nursery AM: Monday – Friday, 8:45am – 11:45am
Nursery PM: Monday – Friday, 12:15pm – 3:15pm

To apply for a free 15-hour nursery place, please contact the school to request a Register of Interest form. We will acknowledge receipt of your application and provide an estimated start date.

For eligible families, we also offer 30-hour nursery places, with the following provision:

Monday – Friday, 8:45am – 3:15pm (Weekly fee of £10, payable via ParentPay)

Mid-Year Transfers

If you are moving into the area or considering transferring your child to Old Hill Primary, you will need to complete a Sandwell mid-year transfer application form.

• If your child currently attends a Sandwell school, contact their current school for the form. The completed form must be returned to the current school.
• If your child does not attend a Sandwell school, please contact Sandwell MBC for a mid-year transfer form via the link below:

Apply to transfer your child mid-yearOnce a place is offered at Old Hill Primary, we will arrange a visit for you and your child to meet the staff, tour the school, and receive a parent handbook with further information. A proposed start date will also be provided, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions.

Reception Admissions

If you are considering applying for a Reception place, we encourage you to visit our school. Please contact us to arrange a visit or inquire about upcoming open days.
