Equalities Objectives
Our Commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion
At Old Hill Primary School, we are committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion for all pupils. We closely monitor the progress of all pupils and implement interventions to support those at risk of not reaching their potential. These processes will be used to ensure that pupils identified in our equality objectives receive the necessary support to achieve their goals.
To achieve this, our equality objectives for 2024 – 2028 are as follows:
- To foster a culture of understanding and respect for diversity, ensuring all pupils feel valued and included.
- To close the attainment gap in reading, writing, and mathematics between disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged pupils.
- To increase the attainment and progress of disadvantaged and SEND pupils through high-quality teaching, targeted interventions, tailored provision, and support.
Progress against these objectives will be reviewed annually.
