Pupil Leadership
At Old Hill, we recognise that our children are the leaders of the future. With this in mind, we aim to provide a wide range of opportunities to help them develop their leadership skills. Pupil voice is highly valued and actively promoted. Each academic year, our children are given a platform to share their views and contribute to shaping the development of our school.
We encourage all pupils to make the most of the opportunities available and continually seek new ways to extend and enrich their experiences. This approach supports personal growth, fosters a strong sense of community and contributes to the ongoing development of the whole school.
We have established a variety of leadership roles for our pupils. Some positions are filled through a democratic election by their peers, while others involve a formal application process, including written letters and presentations. In certain cases, staff nominations are made, encouraging pupils who might not put themselves forward but who would benefit greatly from the experience.
